You are the flame in our kitchen! As an independent working chef at Planet Awesome, you will ensure taste, speed and consistency on a daily basis. You work with clear recipes, develop new dishes and keep the kitchen tight according to HACCP guidelines.

Planet Awesome is an entertainment venue with go-kart track, bowling, karaoke, laser game, glow in the dark golf and good food and beverage service all under one roof. Guests come here for a complete evening out. You make their evening complete with dishes they come back for.

This is what you will do

• Independently preparing and formatting various dishes according to recipe and schedule
• Developing new dishes and improving existing recipes
• Ensuring hygiene and safety in the kitchen, according to HACCP standards
• Monitor stock, prepare orders and coordinate with the head chef
• Ensuring a clean and organized kitchen
• Working with the team to keep service running smoothly, including during peak hours and large groups

This is you

• You have a completed cooking education (at least level 3) or similar experience
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
• You are creative, have a positive work ethic and a passion for cooking
• You work neatly and in a structured manner, even when pace is demanded
• You know the HACCP guidelines and apply them consistently
• You are flexible, including evenings and weekends
