Leading Activities/Floor Manager

You run the floor

Wherever there's a buzz, you're on standby. As the manager of activities at Planet Awesome in Nijmegen, you will manage the team on the floor, keep the flow of guests on a tight rein and ensure safety and fun. During peak moments at Go-Karting, Bowling and lasergamen you will ensure tempo, clear communication and a top experience, so that every guest leaves with a big smile.

  • Location: Planet Awesome, Nijmegen
  • Hours: 24 to 38 hours, schedule negotiable
  • Start: Immediately or by mutual agreement
  • Contract: definite term with permanent prospects

This is what you will do

  • Direct, coach and motivate activity coaches on the floor
  • Flow-through monitoring at Go-Karting, Bowling, lasergamen and other activities
  • Ensure safety, hygiene and hospitality and handle incidents professionally
  • Opening and closing, overseeing occupancy, turnovers and reviews
  • Lead briefings, induct new colleagues, provide feedback on the floor
  • Collaborate with hospitality, front desk and events, thinking about improvements

This is what you bring

Must haves

  • MBO4 or HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the field of leisure or hospitality
  • At least 1 to 2 years of leadership experience in leisure, hospitality or retail
  • You are stress resistant, decisive, communicatively strong and hospitable
  • You are flexible, including evenings, weekends and vacations
  • You speak fluent Dutch

Nice to haves

  • Speaking English is a plus
  • BHV and Social Hygiene are pluses; Don't have this? Then get it at the start

Yes, the position is available from 24 hours per week. Schedule by mutual agreement. Evenings and weekends are included.

Do I need managerial experience?

Preferably 1 to 2 years. With demonstrable coaching skills, we also invite you to respond.

Do I need to have FAFS or Social Hygiene?

This is a plus. If you don't have this yet, you can obtain it in your first few months.
